Just starting to get into more technical terrain and not sure what to do and sick of hearing the phrases "just give it gas!" "Just send it" & "just commit!"? Well we've got the dirtbike class for you! Join Catherine in a one day class to hone in those little details that are so important for building the confidence it takes to start stepping out of your comfort zone and riding the gnar. 🤘 While we work the fundamental principles in the flat ground, we will also break up the day by going out and taking what we learned and applying it to real, ON TRAIL, situations! We'll talk about: Body positioning and how to MOVE on your bike to maximize traction Clutch & throttle control so we can eliminate unwanted wheel spin and learn how to effectively maneuver through junk on the trail including; Roots Logs Rocks Rock gardens Ledges And even how to get comfortable with both breaks so we can learn how to be confident on sketchier downhills too! So what are you waiting for? Let's up your technical riding skills! Day one will be focused more so on building the foundations for technical riding. This class is best suited for riders who are confident riding in open areas, and are starting to dabble in single track but are concerned about what they might find "on the trail". This class is ALSO great for experienced single track riders, wanting to build good habits to progress to Day 2 where we work more complex topics like, Sidehills Turning Up & Down Hill Lifting the front wheel to take your obstacle game to the next level Hill Climbs Chunky Rocks And more... Worried that you might not be "ready for this clinic"? I PROMISE YOU. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. This clinic is not for "pro riders". I will not be sending you into the "deep end". There will be multiple skill levels, but this is not a COMPETITION. We're here to build good habits, and learn skills that could make us better, and safer riders. I will have progressions for all skill levels to keep everyone entertained. NO this class will not be "too hard". NO this class will not be "too easy". HOWEVER. This class is NOT for brand new riders. You must be comfortable shifting your dirtbike into 2nd and 3rd gear (that does not mean you ride at the top end of 3rd gear). You must be able to take off smoothly using the clutch, and coming to a complete stop using BOTH BRAKES WITHOUT stalling your dirtbike. If you have any further questions or concerns on if this class is for you, please email me (Catherine) at admin@leakymushroommotoranch.com or DM me on Instagram or Facebook!
